Comengs

Comengs enetered service in 1981 to replace the last of wooden rollingstock. Around 570 carriages were made from 1981-1989, making a M-T-M combination. From 2000 to 2003 they were referbished by Alstom for Connex and EDI Rail for M>Train. M>Train Comengs were re-sticketed in 2005 to Connex livery, and were allowed to run anywere on the system and cross couple in 2006. The Comengs are subjected to be withdrawn from 2011.
